I saved this because it’s mentioned in the lecture this week, and I wanted to remind myself to go back to it and read it further. It’s worth the read. In the article, Chris Anderson discusses how the incarnation of big data is superseding the need for scientific theory and modelling. It’s a fascinating argument, and definitely gives one pause for thought.
