I really enjoyed reading this article. From its abstract it grabbed me.  I’ve not come across Class Dojo in person, but I did find this jolly video online after I’d read the piece, and felt very suspicious of it:

I was struck by the Williamson’s calm manner of writing about something that was winding me up. The construction of children as data-objects, and the associated colonisation of childhood, was very chilling to read. A ‘community culture’ which at least needs critical assessment, if not resistance.
